This variety of okra does well in my hometown. We’ve been getting a lot of rain and most pictures taken during this season are likely to go into my watery posts!:)

Lovely flower. Yellow is always outstanding. And it has been rainy here as well. I wonder why. This time round is quite funny. Sunny in the morning and then late afternoon shower. Shows no sign at all beforehand. Nevertheless, enjoy your day at the garden!

We had okra in our kitchen garden when I was young, but I guess that time I was only waiting for the first sight of the veggie and failed to notice the flower!!! Maybe now a days it is the other way round!
