Watery Wednesday

The coastline in Puducherry.

Welcome to Watery Wednesday! Today’s picture is from Puducherry, formerly known as Pondicherry, and is a Union Territory in the southern part of India. It’s a former French colony and many streets retain their French names and it’s a common sight to see French style villas. The city is divided into the French quarter and the Indian quarter. For more on this beautiful place, you can click here. This photo was taken by my husband from a boat when he was there in June.
